The logo of my trade mark Diacoord Consulting joining the olive leaf and oak tree leaf symbolizes a number of themes close to my heart. Among others the following could be mentioned: In the Bible story of Noah’s Ark and the Great Flood, it is told that Noah sent out the dove from the ark and the dove returned to him in the evening with a freshly plucked olive leaf in her beak. So Noah knew that the waters had receded from the earth. The leaf of the olive tree thus symbolizes peace. My last name Tamminen in Finnish means oaken. It is an old translation of the Swedish name Ek. Oak tree leaf in Finland is often used to pay respect to the war veterans of my country who fought to ensure a peace that is still enduring.
